2010-2011 - "Made for Taste" gets in Finland

As part of the European Programme "Made For Taste" organised in conjunction with the Italian Wine Association, in 2010-2011 Finland hosted a series of activities aimed at promoting PDO and PGI deli meats and wines, often paired according to the most traditional rules of taste, and to enhance each product's area of origin. Meetings with journalists were organised in Helsinki while courses on PDO and PGI deli meats were held at schools and food universities in several Finnish cities (Rovaniemi, Turku and Imatra, in addition to the capital). May 2011 saw three days of appointments: during the event “Let’s Talk about Wine” Helsinki hosted two events at the Palace Gourmet and one in the central Narinkkatori Square, with a day dedicated to the tasting of Italian deli-meats and wines open to the public of consumers.
