Cooked deli meats

Thanks to a marked technological content that always respects tradition, cooked deli meats fully reflect the developments and innovation applied by the Italian deli meats industry. These particular products can also be divided into two categories of goods: whole and “insaccati” (encased). A symbol of cooked products, starting from a whole muscle is prosciutto cotto. If we consider the cooked “insaccati”, without a doubt the ‘prince’ of products is mortadella, followed by zampone and cotechino. Wurstel also merits a mention, a cooked product which is today produced and eaten on a regular basis. Part of northern cooking tradition, this deli meat can be prepared starting from pig meat, but is often easy to find it with chicken or turkey (and even a mix of different meats).
